To be completely honest with you, YES, you can make real money with Legendary Marketer, just like you’ve probably seen some screenshots from its affiliates earning a few thousand dollars per day.
So, this is definitely not a scam BUT whether this system will work for you and get the same results is a totally different story.

What is Legendary Marketer?
Legendary Marketer is a brand created by David Sharpe (or Dave Sharpe) to help people build their internet marketing business through their online courses and live events.
David was the co-founder of the now infamous company called Empower Network.
But he was not the cause for the fall of Empower Network because he had left the company prior to that.
In his 9 years as digital marketing entrepreneur and educator, he has founded 3 multi-million dollar companies from scratch.
So from what David has achieved in the past, he is a real deal.
Now, with Legendary Marketer, his goal is to provide this educational platform to help aspiring startup entrepreneurs to earn a full-time income with their own digital business.

Basically, these are just different landing pages which will lead you to join Legendary Marketer.
Let’s take a look at how Legendary Marketer works…
How Does Legendary Marketer Work?
According to Dave, the success rate of an internet business startup is as miserable as traditional business startups – only 1 out of 10 will survive.
However, franchise business seems to have a much higher success rate. Once again according to Dave, 9 out of 10 franchise business will survive.
So he wants to bring the traditional franchise business model to the online world.
What this means is that Dave has developed a proven sales funnel that works. All you have to do is to work with him and use his “online franchise business” and make money.
This is also why Legendary Marketer is also known as “Duplicate Dave”. You’re basically duplicating what Dave has created and use the proven sales funnel to make money for yourself.
In other words, the only product in Legendary Marketer is its training and membership levels. But the training is all targeted towards promoting their own high-ticket membership.
By following their training, you’re just being a reseller to resell their memberships to earn commission.

Ugly Truths of Legendary Marketer Revealed
Now comes the interesting part.
So far Legendary Marketer seems like a pretty good program because Dave is a very successful leader and it seems like you’ll be getting a lot of training & help to make money online.
However, there’s a huge flaw in their business model.
Let me explain…
Honestly speaking, Legendary Marketer has some really good training with regards to various skills you need for internet marketing. (I’ll explain their detailed training in a moment)
They claim that you can use the training to either build your own digital marketing business or make money by selling their affiliate products.
Yes, there’s no doubt you can apply the skills you learnt to whatever online business you are doing. But most people who are showing off their paychecks from Legendary Marketer are their affiliates.
And most of the tools and resources within Legendary Marketer’s back office are aimed at helping you to “recruit” more people into the community, instead of helping you to build your own digital business.
The GOOD Thing about Legendary Marketer is…
This is NOT a MLM business because it doesn’t have multiple levels of commission structure. It’s a pure affiliate marketing business model with only one-tier, you and your referral.
This prevents them from getting caught in the situation like Digital Altitude.
Digital Altitude is has a very similar business model to Legendary Marketer. Both of them are selling multiple high-ticket (membership) products.
But Digital Altitude are now sued by FTC because they have multiple levels of commission structure which makes them more like a pyramid scheme.
Another similar program is MOBE (My Own Business Education). MOBE is selling high-ticket membership products up to $30K as well.
But MOBE adopts a 2-tier affiliate program. It’s still legit and not being shut down like Digital Altitude.
But 2-tier means it is trying to take advantage of both MLM and affiliate marketing. That’s why it’s a pretty controversial program.

Legendary Marketer, although not entirely the same, its business model is considered pretty similar to MOBE and Digital Altitude.
That’s why I would suggest you to stay away from Legendary Marketer as well!
However, the BAD Thing is that…
You have to keep purchasing their upsells in order to receive more affiliate commission.
You’ll see the details of the products in the next section below. But basically, you have to “pay-to-play”.
For example, if you only purchase their $30 front-end offer, you won’t be able to receive commissions for their high-ticket products like those $1,000, $2,000 or even up to $12,000.
With a $30 membership, you can only earn $18 if you refer new members to purchase the exact same $30 membership.
If you want to earn $1,000 commission, you have to either purchase their $2,500 product or sell 3 units of the product beforehand.
This type of commission structure is really horrible because you’re like being forced to keep purchasing more and more upsells and give more and more money to Dave.
Although affiliate marketing is a real legit business, I would highly recommend you to stay away from this kind of “pay-to-play” games.
The immediate barrier to entry is that you need to have the capital to invest in the first place.
In the case of Legendary Marketer, you need to prepare a couple of thousand dollars before you can PROBABLY earn that back after some hard work.
This is unlike my top recommended programs like Wealthy Affiliate. You’re not required to pay money in order to make money.
That’s the most legitimate way to run affiliate marketing business!

This is basically a training and resource to help people drive traffic to their landing page using paid traffic methods.
My question is…why do they need to offer this as a separate product and charge another price for it?
I think traffic generation is one of the most important aspects of any business. They should have this in their introductory program, right?

This is another course which you’ll learn how to generate traffic, leads and sales through Facebook and Instagram Fan Page to promote your Legendary Marketer Business.
But wait, I thought this is already taught in their Marketers Club?
Why are they offering another product just to teach this? It’s probably more advanced but does it really worth $997?
Can you start to realize that this company is more about making more money for themselves by offering a bunch of expensive upsells?
Don’t forget that there are a lot of information that can be learnt online for FREE.

This upsell consists of 4 main courses and you’ll learn:

This is a 3-Day live in-person mastermind event happening in the US.
Prior to this level, all the products are digital products and you are paying thousands of dollars to get access to their digital course.
From this level onward, this is when things start to happen in real life but you’re also going to pay a lot more money.
7. Legendary Entrepreneur Mastermind ($12,000 one-time)
This is another 3-Day live mastermind event in the US which covers higher level stuffs like health, wealth, growth and personal development stuffs.
So there’s more focus on being a true entrepreneur.
Once again, $12,000 for a 3-Day event? That’s really too much!
I’ve attended Tony Robbins’ Unleash The Power Within which only cost me $1,000+ for a 4-Day Event.
Tony is the best of the best in personal development and life strategies. Why do you want to learn from someone who is not the best in the world yet it is charging at a much much higher price?
It doesn’t make sense to me at all.
Seriously, Tony’s event is the best. Your life will never be the same after you’ve attended one of his event.

Legendary Marketer is for anyone who wants to make money online and have a couple of thousand dollars to invest.
If you don’t have or don’t want to invest thousands of dollars, I would recommend you to start with my FREE Training.
Another group of people who can benefit from Legendary Marketer are Network Marketers who wants to generate more leads and sales through online marketing.
Legendary Marketer’s training is comprehensive enough to help network marketers drive traffic and increase their leads.
However, the downside is still its price.

This front-end offer’s value worth much more than $30/month. It has hours of training on various aspects of internet marketing like what I’ve just listed above. (E.g. Facebook marketing, Instagram, YouTube, Lead generation, etc…)
If you’re a complete beginner, you can learn a lot of things from these training.
However, I believe the upsells are overpriced.

2. You Won’t Get Lost
Once you join the community, there are step-by-step guidance on what you need to do.
On top of that, you’re assigned with a coach immediately after you join. Your coach will guide you step-by-step and you can ask any questions if you’re not sure of anything.
The downside of this is that these coaches have a purpose behind helping you, and that is to persuade you to purchase their upsells.
3. Pure Affiliate Marketing, Not MLM
Like I’ve explained earlier on, Legendary Marketer does not have multiple levels of commission structure like many other similar programs do.
This prevents them from being marked as a pyramid scheme.
4. High Affiliate Commission
The reason why Legendary Marketer affiliates can earn thousands of dollars per month is because they promote high-ticket products and offer a decent commission rate.
Quite a number of affiliates are paying $2,500 to sell the Legendary Builder Masterclass product. This allows them to earn $1,000 per sale.
Similarly, if you want to earn $2,000 commission, you have to purchase their $5,000 product.
The commission rate is between 40% to 60%.
That’s the advantage of promoting high-ticket products because you can earn a lot more from every sale.
5. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
This is only for the subscription based products like the Legendary Marketers Club.
You can cancel the billing and request a refund within 30 days. Afterwards, there are no refund for monthly automated billing.
The good thing is that at least you can try their online digital training and resources risk-free for the first month.
The Bad
1. Too F**king Expensive
I believe many of you who want to learn how to make money online does not have thousands of dollars to invest in the first place.
That’s why you’re here looking for ways to make money, aren’t you?
So, I really don’t recommend you to spend thousands of dollars just to get the “license rights” to resell the course to others.
Just take a look at the product list screenshot above. There are simply too many high-ticket upsells. If you want to join, be prepared to receive lots of promotional messages along the way trying to upsell you more stuffs.

2. Focus on Paid Traffic (Additional Costs)
Apart from the costly investment, there are other costs you need to consider.
For example, Legendary Marketer doesn’t teach you anything much about Free traffic method.
Yes, they do touch on free marketing strategies like blogging, free social media marketing, YouTube, etc. But their main focus is still on Paid Traffic method.
This is because paid traffic allows you to get results much faster. A lot of people don’t have the patience to work on Free traffic methods.
But the downside is that you need to prepare additional hundreds of even thousands of dollars every month to invest in paid traffic.
Without traffic, you have no business.
There’s one more hidden cost and that is the cost to invest in a Autoresponder. They recommend using SendLane in their platform.
3. Facebook Ad Issue
Just to add on to the previous point on paid traffic. Legendary Marketer focuses a lot on Facebook Ads.
However, there’s a problem with using Facebook Ads to promote Legendary Marketer’s products.
Facebook is now very strict in terms of the type of Ads they approve.
Currently, it’s hard for your Ad to be approved if you’re in the make money online niche offering digital products. Because there are simple too many scams and Facebook is very strict about it.
Just take a look at Facebook Ads Policies, you’ll see the number of prohibited and restricted contents.
Things like “get rich quick” schemes are definitely prohibited.
I’m not saying Legendary Marketer is a “get rich quick” scheme but it’s definitely promoting make money online opportunity which may have issues with Facebook Ads.
This may not be a valid concern but it is just my opinion from my experience.

4. They’re Mainly Promoting Themselves
Like I’ve said, despite you can leverage the training from Legendary Marketer to build your own online business, their platform focuses a lot on promoting their own products and upsells to other people.
Most of the people who are making money are also affiliates promoting Legendary Marketer products.
I really don’t like such programs because it’s hard for you to build your own business and do whatever you want.
This is unlike Wealthy Affiliate where you are encouraged to build your own niche websites and run your own affiliate marketing business in whatever niche/market of your choice.
5. Low Income Potential on Average
As you can see from Legendary Marketer’s Income Disclaimer page, it says…
“The average annual gross income for Affiliates is projected to be between $500 and $2,000 based upon industry standards and company projections.”
$500 to $2,000 per year? That can’t even cover the cost you invest in their programs.
This is just a projection. But you must be aware of this because those income proof from some of its affiliates can be misleading.

Trust me, when you see this kind of income proof from someone else for the first time, your heart will start to pump a little bit faster and you’ll get a little bit more excited. (Maybe not just a little bit but you get my point)
Affiliates will be telling you that this is all possible and prove to you how they can make such commission within a short period of time.
But please don’t be misled by this. You have to look into their training and learn more about it before you invest thousands of dollars.
If you’re interested, I would recommend you to try out their $30/month Legendary Marketers Club. There’s a 30-Day refund period so there’s no harm in giving it a shot.
Just be careful of the upsells. Do not invest unless you’ve fully understand their system and are 100% sure this will benefit you.
I’m not saying it’s impossible to make that amount of money but it’s definitely not for everyone and you need to consider the cost as well.

No, Legendary Marketer is not a scam. It has legit and helpful training resources. And it is possible to make money with them.
However, there are quite a number of downsides to this program as well.
Being able to make money doesn’t mean it is a good program.
Legendary Marketer VS The Six Figure Mentors
To be honest, I’m not a member of Legendary Marketer but I was a member of The Six Figure Mentors, a company that is extremely similar to Legendary Marketer.
They offer a low-cost front-end product and assign you with a coach. But there are lots of extremely high-ticket upsells waiting for you.
If you’re too innocent, you’ll lose quite a lot of money before you notice.
That’s exactly what happened to me when I joined The Six Figure Mentors. I was a complete newbie back then.
